including the Victoria Cup King George Stakes Epsom Plate Rous Memorial and Kings Stand Plate famous brood mares whose progeny have gained distinction in many countries yearlings of high promise and weanlings whose ancestry include the noted French Rabelais the famous English Prince Palatine and Fitz Herbert a brilliant per ¬ former on American courses attracted Thursday night many notables in racing and breeding to the Saratoga sales paddock where the consignment of choicely regarded thoroughbreds went under the hammer hammerThere There were only thirty two offerings in the Mackay consignment as it was decided to sell the foals at the sides of the several dams together The entire band went for a total of 160000 or an average of 501200 Splritedliidding was induced whenever a
