Alontem lias recently foaled a bay filly, by Grey Fox, which makes the thirteenth filly she has produced without a colt to break the monotony. The mare is a twenty-one-year-old daughter of Ladas Kermesse, by Cremorne. Breeders had been speculating, prior to the time the latest filly was foaled, whether Grey Fox would change the luck, but it was evidently not to be. No similar case can be called to mind.
