ARGENTINE STAR FOR STUD LONDON, England. March 31.— The famous Argentine race horse Macon has been hired for breeding purposes by the Haras Argen-tino for a period of five years, states a Reutt-rs Hueiios Aires nnssage, quoting La Nacion. This stud contains four Argentine Derby winners and three winners of the triple crown — Macon. Gatilois. Itico ami Tiny. Macon, which is a five-year-old. has had a splendid career and is a descendant, on the paternal side, of William III. He had been entered in J. A. Mitres name f.r the Ascot Gold Cup this year.
