CROOKED WOIUC raced in closest pursuit of the leader under restraint for the first three-fclgtfthii and. when ridden hard in the stretch, made a game finish. PIKE CHIEF raced very wide on the turns and finished fast. THKACE swerved badly in the stretch. MARLBORO was moving up Slowly on the inside when cut off by THKACE in the stretch. Start good and slow. Won easily; second and third driving. KITTY YANSEN began fast and showed the most speed from the start and, benefitting greatly by being taken to the firmest going, won going away despite swerving in the stretch. GEORGE McCKANN unseated his rider while" on the way to the post and began slowly, but worked his way up tn the outside and finished fast. TURN OVER was close up throughout and finished well. WILD MARY closed a gap to the stretch turn, then tired. ELIZABETH was shuffled back in the early tunning and met with much interference. LEATHER BREECHES was done after going a half mile. CAROLINE CARTER, close up from the start, finished fast after appearing badly beaten and outgamed MY EVA in :the final drive. -The latter showed the most speed until reaching the stretch. PERCENTAGE was Faved close up for the first quarter, then raced into a safe lead when called on and won under restraint. AVAR EAGLE showed the most speed for the first quarter and raced namely while following closest to the winner afterwards. STAMPDALE raced gamely and had no mishaps. LORETTA BROOKS, shuffled back soon after the start, saved much ground on the tnrns and, joining the leaders when moving up, finished fast and gamely and ontstayed UP SHE GOES. The latter, close up from the start, took the lead in the stretch, but, although finishing gamely, gave way right; at the end. JEALOUS moved up slowly after going a half mile and finished fast, but far out in the track. GRAND KING tired in the last quarter. BUTTON ran poorly. SOLA MIA quit.
