MOUNT ROYALS FORMFUL DAY MONTREAL, Que., May 23. Form players made merry at Mount Royal this afternoon for the third day of the meeting as odds-on choices scored consistently, culminating in the running of the Hochlega Purse, where Uppercut, one of the most consistent performers in Florida, scored in a fairly tight fit over Floorwalker and Irfaneh at the end of a six furlongs dash. The son of High Time was hurried to the front early to take the running away from Highest Point, withstood a stubborn challenge from Wee Toddler II., and at the end was going steadily, though with little to spare. Floorwalker, which had been slow to get into stride, uncovered a burst of speed approaching the turn for home and came through the center with a great rush.- At the end he was in rather close quarters with Irfaneh, and all three horses were lapped oA each other under the wire.
