The latter made up ground, bore out in the stretch and was getting to the winner. ENRO raced on the inside and made up a little ground in the final eighth under severe punishment. DOUBLE DARE worked her way up gradually, but tired in the final eighth. AUSTERLITZ II. and CUT PRICE quit. GOLDEN X. and CAPTAIN DANGER were always trailers. Overweight Captain Danger, 2j pounds.
