1 LOUISVILLE TURF NOTES $ Walter Gooler is the latest of the western riders to try his hand at training. He is directing the preparation of H. G. Shoemakers Open Hearth, Storm Angel, Vellas Choice and Buffoonery, and judging from their recent trials, has them in advanced condition. Gooler, however, is not ready to retire, permanently from the saddle.
