Calumet Sells Early n Smart Nippy Col Teddy Tattle Tale TaleLOUISVILLE LOUISVILLE Ky May 3 Calumet Farm over the weekend sold four horses including the Kentucky Oaks nominee Nippy She was disposed of to Morris Wex ler who also purchased Early n Smart from the same establishment Their training Will be directed by Henri Torriente who plans to race them and other members of the Wexler string at Detroit this sum ¬ mer Ben Jones who represented Calumet Farm in these transactions also sold the twoyearold filly Tattle Tale to Mrs C C Winters and the older colt Eddy to B V and E B Ellstrom Tattle Tale is being sent to Al Lamoureux at Detroit where the Winters racing forces are concentrated While Col Teddy has been taken over by Larry Flemming trainer of the Ellstrom thoroughbreds The Ellstroms also have Claremont Miss Olies Gal and Aunt Lucy at Churchill Downs No price was men ¬ tioned in the sale of any of these horses
