VALDINA MARL, fastest to begin and steadied when outrun, went to LADY LIBERTY when ready, wore her down when inside the final eighth and continued under pressure. ASKMENOW, slow to reach her best stride, lost much ground entering the stretch and closed with a rush. WISEASYOU, never far back and reserved early, came through the field in the drive and finished strongly. LADY LIBERTY had excellent speed, increased her advantage during the run to the stretch and quit badly after five eighths. JERRY LEE lost much ground. FAD held a prominent position for a half. NELLIE L. broke slowly and refused to extend herself under strong pressuie. SAMARITAN was outrun. SHINY PENNY saved ground throughout and held on well. EQUISTAR opened up a commanding lead swiftlv, held a fine advantage to the stretch and tired suddenly near the end. MARTIAN was alwa s close up, but drifted out entering the stretch and wa« under strong pressure after being straightened out. THE FINEST came forward through the field. ENDY was prominent throughout.
