► Detroit Boosts Purses DETROIT, Mich., June 24.— The officials of the Detroit Racing Association increased the minimum purse values for their present meeting to SI, 100 by announcing today that in the present condition books purses listed as ,000 will be ,100, and that the ,200 purses are raised to ,300. The condition books cover racing at the Fair Grounds until July 30.
