1 ■ • Racing Form Men Honored Walter Hoffman, Jr., owner of Rancho Casitas, reports that The Jockey Club has approved names submitted for yearlings on the ranch. Two of the youngsters have been named for employees of DAILY RACING FORM, one being Solly T., for Solly Tichenor, and another Jay Jay M., for J. J. Murphy. The latter colt is a full brother of the stakes-winning mare. Real Clear, being by Tracer, out of Sea Green, by Sea Sick. He is also a half brother of the handicap winner, Return Check, and a full brother of the winner. Red Comet. Solly T., who is by Nocturnal — Rain Chart, by Tracer, Is a half brother of three horses who have won. Return Check was the last mare at Rancho Casitas to foal this year. She had a filly by Brokers Tip and returned to Jean Bart, the son of Man o* War, who is making his first season on the ranch this year. Other late foals were a colt out of Slang, by Ward Boss, and a colt out of Valee, by Count Atlas. Valee was returned to Brokers Tip and Slang to Jean Bart.
