JUST TOlRIST saved ground when outrun in the first half, moved tip strongly on the outside when called upon and disposed of BETROTHED in the closing strides. BETROTHED, in hand until teaching the last three-eighths, went to the front when settled in the stretch, but could not withstand Ihe winner. JO ANN set the pace for three-quarters under pressure from LUMBER QLEEN and then gave way. SALLYMAR moved up boldly entering the stretch and then tired. MY MYRI failed to keep up after going a half. FIELD LARK could not threaten and had no mishaps. LUMBER QUEEN forced the pace for three quarters and then gave way. PRINCESS OLO went into the air at the break, losing all chance. DORA K., in hand while racing within striking distance of the leaders to the stretch, came determinedly when roused for the drive and, after disposing of KNOCK KNOCK, was drawing clear. The latter, well placed and a sharp factor from the start, went to the front in the stretch, held on gamely under punishment, but could not withstand the winner. BABY THERESE, slow to begin and outrun to the last three-eighths, closed stoutly tinder urgimt. LYDIA K., outrun early, drifted out badly in the final three-sixteenths, losing all chance. GOAN, much used racing ANITA CH1QUITA into defeat, had nothing left for the drive. ANITA CHIQUITA went to the ft out at once, raced forwardly placed to the stretch and then gave wav. CUBAN BOMB, alertly ridden, went to the front early and, after establishing a clear lead in the first three-eighths, was hard ridden thereafter to retain her advantage. IDEAL GIFT, never far back and on the inside, closed determinedly under punishment. CHIEF KNOCKER finished strongly and had no mishaps in his good effort. SEALANE roud not threaten the leaders when hard urged in the drive. FORT BEN faltered nearing the finish. VALDIN.V IDOL, forwardly placed to the stretch, failed to stay during the final eighth. CEE RAF was never dangerous OUR SPONSOR raced greenly. BEAUTIFUL BOY began fast, but dropped out of serious contention immediately after the start. SIR SPRITE bore out badly on the upper tuin. ABRCPT worked his way up gamely on the outside and finished well under punishment. LADY WATERLOO was unable to threaten. JAY JAY began slowlv.
