NAVAL STATION was well up all the way and had no mishap. OUR CANDIDATE was hustled into command and showed early speed, then quit. REGAL MAID was outrun. HIGH TINT was rushed up along the inside in the early stages and flattened out badly. The latter showed speed, assumed command entering the final furlong and hung nearing the finish. SPRING THAW was under pressure in the late stages to finish well. SILVER FOG showed a good effort all the way. ACHING BACK began slowly. NIGHT MISS swerved in the running. TRILBY was never a formidable factor. TEANECK MADCAP began slowly.
