OH at the third break to a bad start. Wouhandily; second easily. The start had much bearing on the race. Katheriue got away running and this helpfd her to win. Tuskarosa was closing very strongly and would have won with an even break. CI. netanunda showed speed as also did Gypsic The latter ran green. She went to the front right after the start and was under restraint all the way. Alvarado II . ran a good race and will probably do better when next time out. Armor was closing strongly at the end and ran like a staying horse. Myth did not appear to be ready. Diminutive broke down a furlong from home. Scratched— 11990Challenger, 104. He easily went to the front in the stretch and was drawing away at the end. Waring, as usual, quit when strongly challenged. Montanic again ran well. James did not show his usual speed but finished strongly.
