Won driving; second easily. Meggs came very fast at the finish and won as he should have done. He was the best of a bad lot. Rathliu showed early speed, but weakened at the end. Rebecca Wells was always a contender up to the last eighth, where she tired. Charley Shane showed his usual early speed, but quit at the finish. Creede ran out of the course after taking the ninth jump. Lastfellow ran his race Jack Carey was very sore and far from being able to jump. Rotha closed fast at the end and secured third money in the last few strides. The Tory stopped at the finish after showing speed. Slasher was jumped on at the start and was pulled up.
