THE REALIZATION. Major Daingerfleld is evidently a high class three-year-old. His successes up to his race yesterday-have been achieved over slow or heavy tracks, but by winning the Lawrence Realization yesterday in the fastest time recorded in the history of the race he has plainly shown that he is a good horse, be the going wet or dry. This is one of the characteristics of a truly great racer, and it must now be conceded that this good son of Handspring stands first in the list of eastern three-year-olds. Tom McDowells colt, The Rival, ran a creditable race, but he was in receipt of too much weight from Major Daingerfleld to entitle him to be accounted as being in approximately the same class.
