Pettijoun was on his good behavior today, was off well and well ridden, ran a kind race and was lucky. Dr. Kammerer finished stoutly and showed improvement. She stumbled turning into the stretch and might have won but for this accidont. Edgardo was well ridden and ran a good race. Wax Taper was well ridden and ran an improved race Prosper La Gai wants a very hard track to do his best. Kallir showed speed, but stopped. Salve ran a disappointing race. Tenny Belle was weakly ridden and Bell was suspended indefinitely for his inferior work in the saddle. Pharoah ran a fairly good race only.
