It was only a canter for Shrine. She was under restraint throughout. Candareen made up ground and finished famely and is a fairly good one in such company. Scottish Blue weakened after showing speed. King Edward ran well throughout and finished gamely and like a good horse, Marothen was poorly handled, lost ground on the turn and was tiring at the finish Mollie Peyton finished fast and could have won with a stronger finisher up.
