Marjon Lynch showed the most speed, but had to be hustled out somewhat in tho last oighth to stall oil Georgo Whitneys determined bid. The latter closed up fast in the last eighth, but hung palpably intlio closing strides.: Lady Chorister was well beaten a furlong from home. Guy H. ran well for about live furongs. Faquita showed early speed. Blue Ridge ran away to a false break when the horses first went to the post. She was excused and tho judges announced a twenty minutes delay. Ballow. Went to post at 3:00. At post 15 minutes. Start poor. Won driving to tho limit; second easily. Jack Rattlin showed much speed the first quarter, but was cleverly taken back to avoid the fast pace set by Fitzkanet. Dade moved up with him fast in tho last quarter and he outstayed Fitzkanet in the stirring drive all through tho last sixteenth. The lattor ran to his best form, showed much speed and stood a long drive all through the last eighth with firmness. Hanover Queen was ridden with poor judgment. She was made too much use of in the first half and nppearod to be badly beaten turning for home, but moved up fast in the last eighth and nipped the tiring C. B. Campbell on the post for third place. The latter appeared to have a winning chance at tho last eighth post, but sprawled badly in tho closing strides. Andes was never a serious contender. When the horses wont to the post at first Fitzkanet kicked Fake, which was excused, and a delay of twenty minutes was announced. Scratched S34092Fake, 112. Jack Rattlin, show, out. He appeared to bo winning easily in the last sixteenth, but Coburn had to ride him out hard to offset Gold Bells determined bid in the closing strides. Tho latter closed up fast in the final oighth. Claude began slowly, but finished strongly. Pageant showed much improvement and was right there at tho finish. Agnes Mack fell away beaten a furlong out. Maxette showed oarly speed. Aladdin was at his best, was perfectly handled and stood off Wyeths bold bid in tho last eighth with grit and -ganieness. He crossed Wyeth in tho final sixteonth, but it didnt effect the ronult. Wyeth was carried r very wide at the clubhouse turn by Lucien Appleby, losing ground. He ran to his best form and the best horse at the weights won. Lucien Appleby was cut off badly half-.way down tho backstretch. He was well beaten turning for home. 1 Corrected weights Lucien Appleby, 127. Ho was much the best at the weights. Peat stood a long drive through tho stretch with gamouoss. He may have had too imuch of it of late and is propably in need of a rest. Lovable ran a surprisingly good race and lasted longer than usual. She was tiring fast at the end. Pyrrho fell away beaten turning for homo. Semicolon ran far below h.is best form. True Blue showed his usual turn of speod, tbut tired fast when the pinch came. Lady Bramble displayou a keen turn of speed and bears watching from now on. Herso showed early speod. Tammany Chief finished strongly and would have won in another stride or two. Compass closed fast and was much the best of the others. Marshal Neil appeared anchored with his weight and ran a dull race. Barbara Frietchie and Blessed Damozel ran well for five furlongs. Scratched 33302 Hot, 99. Leo King, show, 4 to 5.
