Belle Manone ran Siege into submission in the first half and then came away without much trouble and won as her rider pleased. Lady Churchill showed much improvement, was always well up and finished strongly. Siege swerved badly in the last sixteenth, losing ground. He was thoroughly tired at the time. Lady Jocaljn also met with early interference, but finished resolutely. Gregor K. tired palpably in the last eighth. King Hammon showed much speed and bears watching. Banish finished with great speed. Constellator showed much speed for seven furlongs, but tired rapidly when the pinch came. Charley Moore was right there for six furlongs and bears watching.
