Lady Silver ran in improved form, raced Incandescent into submission and stalled off Junaettas challenge at the end. Junaetta tired when strongly called on and was under a drive all of the last fur ong. Birdie May ran a good, game raco. She was cut off and thrown out of it just after the start and had to make up a lot of ground. Incandoscent, Lolia Rarr and Iris raced each other into exhaustion and began to quit after going six furlongs. Overweights Lady Silver, 2 pounds; Junaetta, 5; Incandescent, 4 ; La Gorta, 2. Onyx II. caught Eddie T. and Lorn on the far turn and had to so around the leaders to get to the front, but cvt the corner at the stretch turn and saved a lot of ground and was going away at the finish. Flora Briffbt was outrun in the first part of the race, but came with her usual burst of speed in the stretch and easily disposed of Eddie T., but could not catch the leader Castros finish on Harold Keeling was a weak one and be should have been closer up. Lorne tired in the stretch and Eddie T. qnit badly. Emir was a false favorite and ran a very poor race. Onyx II., show, out. Flora Bright, show, 3 to 5. Harold Keeling, show, evens. Frivol wore down the leaders in the run homo and got up in the last few strides. Annie Lauretta showed the most early speed and should have won, but Johnson attempted to draw the finish fine and kept looking back all through the last furlong. Algie M. was worn out in chasing Annie Lauretta and weakened when the pinch came. Johnny McCartey ran his race. Crisscross acted like a crazy horse at the post and broke the barrier several times, but she was much the best in the race and was under a hard drive all the way. Waninta crossed her in the stretch and she had to pull up and go around, but was going away at the end. Waninta showed a lot of speed and set the pace but tired in the last furlong. InBolnnce was outrun in the first part of the race, but closed a big gap and finished strongly. Reap ran a fair race. Impressive quit in the stretch. Dianora II. ran belowther usual form. T. ran his race. Alea showed improvement, but tired in the stretch. Aratoma and H. S. Tobacco were both standing flat-footed when the barrier went up. Both are bad actors and wero unruly at the post.
