Blua Miracle tired in the last sixteenth struggle. Capable showed improvement and bears watching. Rag Tag. easily outrun in the first half, moved up fast in the last quarter and easily wore down Georgie and Rubus. Rubus ran to her best form, but tiretf perceptibly when challenged by the winner. Georgie, off flying, ran in much improved form and just lasted lor g eni ugh to finish third. Headwater s race was too bad to be true. He tired unaccountably in the last eighth. Mac Gyle moved up fast next to the inside rail in the last quarter and finished strongly, going away nt the end. Scotch Plaid faltered in the last sixteenth struggle and just lasted long enough to get second placs. He was cut off badly by Mac Gyle when turning for home, losing several lengths. For this interference Mac Gyle waB disqualified, Scotch Plaid being placed first, Silurian second and Raaselas third. 8ilunan finished strongly and was gradually wearing Scotch Plaid down at the end. Raselas ran a good race and bears watching. Limelight tired fast when the pinch came. Little Elkin finished with a great rush. Captain Gaines was cut off many times during the race. Major Dixon tired under punishment in the last eighth Searcher finished fast and was gradually wearin? down Major Dixon in the closing strides. Fridolin finished stoutly and showed improve ment. Ida V. made up much ground in the last quarter. Filibuster tired fast in the last sixteenth struggle.
