Hindoo Prince, favored by the going and lucky at the start, ran in improved form Bodell, off badly, lost ground by taking the longest way, but finished strongly. Flaneur, poorly ridden, was right there, and in the going held the others safe Zack Ford began slowly and saved ground on the laBt bend when the others swung wide, but failed in the run home. Haidee weakened palpably after going three-eighths. Iris, lucky at the start, showed a Hash of speed, but did not like the going.
