The rain of Tuesday failed to keep the crowd away from the Fasig-Tipton Companys paddocks at Sheepshead Bay, as there was another good attendance for tho sale of the yearlings from Mrs. T. J. Carsons Dixiana Farm, L. P. Tarltons Fleetwood Stud and those of George P. Chinn and J. P. Chinn. John A. Drake made many purchases at the sale, and he also gave the top price when he paid ,5CO for the colt by Scorpion Hygeia. Drake also gave ,000 for the colt by Ben Stroma Roseleaf, ,500 for the filly by Scorpion Truth, a sister to Lady Holyrood ; 00 for the St. George Patrona colt, for the Oddfellow Lavinia II. filly and C0 for the brown or bay filly by Scorpion Faience.
