RACEKS AT AUCTION. Racehorses in training and a few yearlings, the property of various owners, were sold in the Fasig-Tipton Companys paddocks opposite the Sheeps" head Bay track Saturday. Fifty horses were catalogued, but the sale did not begin until late, which caused many to be withdrawn. A large crowd was present and the good performers brought out some lively bidding, and nearly all sold well. Mabel Winn, which Billy Dubois took from P. J. Gorman, after she had won a selling race recently, for ,000, went to P. Lorillard for ,1C0, while Lawrence Waterbury secured the good sprinter Sadducee for ,000. Allan, the colt which J. J. White claimed from J. A. Drake at Saratoga after being beaten in a selling race, went to F. M. Kelly for ,200, almost twice as much at Whito paid for him. Athlana, in the same string, also went to Kelly for ,150. Intrusive, which broke down about a month ago, was sold to J. H. Morris for ,400. The sales follow : CONTINUED ON SECOND PAGE.
