"ON TO A FINISH," SAYS RHINOCK. Cincinnati, O., February 8. "With millions of dollars tied up in race tracks that are idle," say3 Congressman -Joseph L. Rhinock, "the Western Jockey Club is in decidedly more danger of losing its fight and its money than is the American Turf Association. When I made a personal effort last fall to settle the turf troubles in the west, I made offers that were so fair as to cause the Western Jockey Club people to presume that they had us licked aud they came back with counter propositions, the acceptance of which would have ment a throw-down for our people. Now they are aware that they were badly fooled aud would, I am quite sure, gladly accept the terms offered last fall. It is too late, however. The tight is on to a finish."
