Jack Gilroy set the pace and ran a good race, but tired at the end. Tony Faust got off slowly, but made up ground steadily and, coming fast through the stre.tch, barely failed to get up for second place. Kamsack, Gulliver and King of Spades finished close up and going well. Celsis and Game Bird quit badly. Scratched 60028 George Swain, 112. Kequiter came fast through the stretch and gives promise of returning good form. Golden Buck was close up throughout and easily outstayed Prince Magnet. Hermitage set a fast pace to midway of the stretch, but tired when challenged by the winner. Chancellor Walworth ran a surprisingly good race and, lesplte being cut oft In the stretch, came on and finished gamely. Masterson ran well, but could not concede the difference in weight. Don Domo finished with a rush when too late. Lacene plodded along in fourth place all the way and can do much better. Hester W. showed early speed, but quit badly.
