JENNINGS SIGNS JOCKEY L. WILLIAMS. San Francisco, Cal.. March 1. Only one race, the last at five and one-half furlongs, relieved the dull monotony of a card made up entirely of cheap selling races at Oakland today. Favorites shared equally with outsiders in the days successes. Buchanan showed the best performance during the afternoon when he beat a field of good selling platers at a mile and fifty yards. W. B. Jennings released jockey Knapp today and replaced him with L. Williams. The contract on the last named extends to June 1, 1007.
