HOW TO REACH ROCKINGHAM PARK. Rockingham Park being new in the racing field, the New England Breeders Club has issued a letter of shipping instructions to horsemen, advising the best means of getting to the track from various parts of the country. The nearest railroad station is Salem Depot, but horsemen are advised to ship horses and goods direct to Rockingham Park, Salem leKt, New Hampshire, as a spur has Ieen built direct to the track. The track is located on the Manchester and Lawrence branch of the Western Division of the Boston and Maine Railroad, and is thirty-four miles from Boston. Shipments should be made to the nearest point on the Boston and Maine road. Horsemen from the south and west should route their shipments by Springfield, Mass., while from northern New York the most direct route is by way of Rotterdam Junction. Shippers are warned to carefully avoid confusion between Salem. Mass.. and Salem, New Hampshire. The track is in New Hampshire.
