Loretta II. was sluggish in the first part of the race, but came fast in the stretch and finished gamely and pressing the winner to her best efforts. Kings Gem ran well, but just saved third money. The latter lost ground by running on the t outside, most of the way, but ran a good race aud finished gamely. Ponca went well, but lost ground by a wide, turn into the stretch, but for which he might have been second. Lady Ray rau well to the stretch and tired.
