Won driving; second the same. Sweet Favor showed the most early speed, but tired and had to be ridden out to the limit to win. Loretta II. was sluggish in the first part of the race, but came fast in the stretch and finished gamely and pressing the winner to her best efforts. Kings Gem ran well, but just saved third money. Judge Himes closed a big gap and put up a remarkably game finish after being outrun in the early stages. Lemon Girl was hard "ridden all the way and had no mishaps. Tritcs Hill finished fast. Request was always in forward contention and wore down and outgamed Merry Belle in the stretch run. The latter ran well to the stretch, but tired under pressure In the final furlong. Ed Early got off slowly and ran well back for a half, but moved, up on the far turn and, joining the leaders at the head of the stretch, won going away after a hard drive with Arabo. The latter lost ground by running on the t outside, most of the way, but ran a good race aud finished gamely. Ponca went well, but lost ground by a wide, turn into the stretch, but for which he might have been second. Lady Ray rau well to the stretch and tired.
