Xhe latter was splendidly handled and, finishing fast, was catching the winner nt every stride, Globe Runner made a fast finish after being outrun in the first part of the race. Pin-sticker, quit badly after displaying early speed. Shipwreck ran well. Delmore showed improving form. Crove Center ran a poor race. Al Powell was lucky in avoiding the jam at the start and, with Redfern steering him clear of the mlx-up, he got a big advantage in the first quarter, but tired and had to be ridden to the limit to stall off Lucy Marie. The latter ran a good race and finished gamely. Our Own ran well to the stretch and held on resolutely to the end. Judge Davej was knocked out of contention on the far turn, ran by far the best race and would have won with an even break. Dorothy M. was off badly. Goldsmith was on the outside and was taken the long route, but came very fast at the end. Polly Prim was speedy, but was raced Into exhaustion in the first five furlongs.
