Dalesman ran to his best form and, away In the forward division, raced Mazzletoy into subjection before going a half and won cantering. Dr. Hart ran in suddenly Improved form and finished going fast. Reveille, hard ridden throughout, suffered from Interference after going a half, but came with a rush when he secured clear mailing. Teddy, In forward contention for the first three-quarters, swung wide into the stretch and lost much ground. PHler ran a fairly good race. Eular ran a had race and, although away in a poor position, failed to show much speed and, his performance was far below his best form. Begonia, away slowly, had to work through a rough trip, finished going gamely under a hard drive and won drawing away. Alma Gardla forced the early pace and ran a good race, despite tiring slightly near the end. In-siiector Girl broke fully In motion, showed the most early speed and hung on well in the ffnifl drive, favors mud and will improve. Lady March ran a fairly good race and was going well at the end. Hilona ran well to the stretch and retired. Bitter Brown quit when hard ridden and can do better. Early Hours ran into contention from a poor send-off. but tired when called on strongly. Garrett Wilson began slowly and had to go wide into the stretch, but finished fast and was best of the others. Lady Carol ran a fairly good race and stood a hard drive gamely through the stretch. Start good. Won easily; second the same. Orly, away well, was rushed into the lead from the start and set a fast pace, which he maintained steadily throughout and won witli plenty In reserve. Brancas ran in close pursuit of the" leaders for the lirst three-quarters, then moved up and, although going fast at the end, could not overhaul the winner, but held the others safe. The Minks came fast In the last quarter and ran to bis hest form. Kercheval appeared stiff and sore when going to the post and ran with a ehoppy stride most of the way, hut saved ground when turning into the stretch and ran a fairly good race. Mcllvaln dropped out of contention after aolng three-quarters. Red Light ran a bad race and can do much better. Peter Nathaniel showed good form for the first three-quarters. Helmuth went to the front quickly, set a fast pace in the early stages and shook off Elected in the final drive, running in improved form. Elected, away running, showed a good order of speed aud stayed well in the drive through the last quarter. Jay Swift was a forward contender from the start and outgamed Lady Vimont in the closing drive. The latter ran a good race and bad to overcome slight interference. Alvlse tailed to show much speed in the early stages, but closed a big gap In the final quarter. Gabble, away In a tangle, had scant chance. Outcry showed a brief Hash of speed. Bonaventure was away too poorly to cut much figure In the result. Water Silk was caught hi a jam at the half and unseated her rider. Scratched 3223 Editii M., 103. Iluzzah, hard ridden, raced forwardlv from the start aud, saving ground when turning into the stretch, outgamed Willie Newcomb in the closing strides. Willie Newcomb showed a good flight of speed and sustained it well for the first three-quarters, then tired. Inflammable ran a good race and suffered from interference. The Pet tired In the final drive. Florlzel was badly crowded soon after the start. The Only Way ran a good race after working through a s rough trip and, with clear sailing, would have been closer up. Scratched C3171Bugler, 108. Overweights Inflammable, 1 pound. The Mate ran in Improved form and put up a good performance for the first three-quarters Oberou came from a long way back In the stretch and finished fast. Matahon appeared to sulk most Vjf the way. Gladiator was going well until lie was cut off, then apparently refused to do his best and quit In the stretch. Orient showed scant speed and ran a dull race.
