SANFARA VICTORIOUS IN ANOTHER STAKE. Massive Makes Her Extend Herself to Win the International at Kenilworth Park. Buffalo, N. Y., June 30.-5ly annexing the International Stakes, the feature of the card at Kenilworth Park today, Sanfara earned her fourth straight stake victory here. Her success in the six furlongs dash through the mud today was not, however, so easily achieved as were her previous victories, for it took the best In her to defeat the added starter Massive by a nose. A heavy downpour, which occurred as the horses were going to the post for the opening dash, changed the complexion of the card and the International was cut down to four starters. By reason of her well known liking for the mud, Sanfara was installed the odds-on choice with Massive the outsider. The latter left the barrier like a scared rabbit and scurried along in front of Sanfara until well into the stretch. Below the last eighth post the filly began gradually picking him up and in the hardest kind of a drive managed to get up by a nose. The saddle on Massive slipped when nearing the end, but for which jockey. Lee might have brought him home a winner. Meehant, rated by J. O. Keene a,s the best two-year-old he had in his barn, went lame after being worked early this morning and will probably be" out of commission for some time.
