SINFUL TO EVEN LOOK AT A RACETRACK. "Talk about narrow-minded people." said . a man who attended the openiug of Rockingham Iark. "those New Hampshire Puritans are the limit. I went out to Salem the day before the racing began. The railroad runs along the side of the track just before getting to Salem station. There is the new racetrack. called out some one in the car. and a young lady who was sitting on the other side of the car left her seat to take a look at it. Shu was immediately taken to task by her mother, who jawed her in the most outrageous fashion for daring to even look at the track."
