Lady Ellison, from a flying start, was outpaced and forced out of a good iHjsition on the first turn, was then in close quarters until in the last furlong, when she worked clear and finished like a shot. Janeta showed a fine turn of speed during the middle half, but was tiring at the end. Dont Ask Me was shut oil early and steadily improved her position in the last six furlongs. Angler, shut off and nearly left, closed ja. big gap. but had no chance after, going the first Sixteenth. Adbell again failed to stay. Prince Frederick had no chance at the start.
