Start straggling. Won easily; second driving. Grace Kimball was favored by the start and made every post a winning one, but had to be shook up to withstand the rush of Lucy Marie. The latter got off tangled up. but came fast when fully in her stride. Blondy ran well for five furlongs, then tired. Clamor was shuttled back after the start. Rusk was away well in motion, raced Money Muss iuto exhaustion in the first half and had enough left to stall off the rush of Kilts. The latter began slowly, but showed fin? speed and was coming fast at the end. Hannibal Bey ran a good race and outgamed Money Muss for third place. Delmorc was best, raced Dargin and Marpessa Into defeat in the first three-quarters, but was driving to the limit to withstand the rush of Pronta. The latter ran in suddenly Improved form and finished fast. Lazell, off none too well, ran a good race and finished gamely. Marpessa and Dargin showed a rareturn of early speed, but tired. Bertha E.. admirably rated by Ross, waited in behind Anneta Lady until the head of the stretch was reached, then raced her into defeat and won going away. Society Bud closed a gap and finished going fast. Singing Master was shuffled back at the start and had to go around on the outside, came fast in the stretch and outgained Anneta Lady for third place. The latter tired fast after showing the, most early speed. Many Thanks ran below her best form. F. E. Shaw also ran below his true form. Fleeting Star was in ciose pur--suit all the way, but could never get to the winner and was driving to the limit at th- end to stall off Dixie Jane. The latter ran well, but tired in the stretch. Flip was crowded in next to the rail and could never get through. Dr. AVentker was crowded back at the start and had no chance thereafter.
