GOOD AND PLENTY IS OUT OF TRAINING. Saratoga. N. Y., August 7. Thomas Hitchcock, Jr., says that Good and Plenty has been thrown out of training and will not race again this season. He has. however, hopes that this great steeplechaser will be in shape for racing next season. What alls the son of Rosslngton, neither Mr. Hitchcock, trainer Charles Kiernan nor any veterinary who has examined him has been aide to tell. Some seem to think him lame in the shoulder. Others contend that bis knee is bad. But whatever the cause of his lameness may be, a rest of ten or eleven months would not hurt him, and a rest he is going to get.
