WALKER SCORES A COUP WITH.XAZELL. . Buffalo, N. Y., August 13. Oratorian in the first and Oleasa in the sixth were the winning favorites at Fort Erie today. The racing was above the average and the finishes close and exciting in three events. William Walker scored a coup when Lazell won the fourth race. It is said that the horse was also heavily backed in the poolrooms.. Jockey Dealy, who had the mount on Miss LIda in the second race, was unseated just as the barrier went up. One of the horses struck Dealy on the head and the lad was unconscious when picked up. He came to, however, after being carried to the jockeys room and was none the worse for the accident outside of a few bruises. Dealys mounts for the remainder of the afternoon were cancelled, but he will probably ride tomorrow. J. Boland disposed of the jumper Henry Ach this morning, George Neal purchasing him for 00. E. S. Gardner will send his stable from here to Sheepshead Bay and race on the Metropolitan circuit for the remainder of the season. A two-year-old colt, by St. Simonian belonging to Amos Turney got out of his stall Sunday night and ran into a barbed wire fence, cutting himself seriously. C. C. Van Meter, D. Guthrie and Allan Steele have arranged to ship tbelr stables from here to Douglas Park at the close of the present meeting. J. W. Pangle and A. Gates will go from here to Toronto and rest up their horses until the opening of the Woodbine meeting.
