HORSE HAVEN TRAINERS AFTER THE PRIZE. Saratoga, N. Y., August 14. A stroll among the stables at Horse Haven reveals the fact that many trainers are trying for the 00 prize which has been offered to the trainer who "keeps the neatest and most presentable stable during the meeting. Harry Phillips, the former jockey, has made a dead set for the prize and has laid out the grass plots in front of his stable much as a landscape gardnor might have done, using shells as the principal features of his outside decorations. Roger Mlnton has the Hayman stable decorated in the colors of the stable and the outfit has been likened to an Indian encampment.
