TWO FOR GARDNER AT FORT ERIE. Buffalo, N. Y., August 15. The two winning favorites at Fort Erie today came from the stable of E. S. Gardner. Aways victory in the third was the most popular of the day. Every woman in the grandstand must have had a bet on "Pa" Bradleys Aloha gelding. Hanover Hornpipe, brought to Fort Erie from Brighton Beach last week, was supposed to be the good thing In the last race. The "public went to him as if it was all over. Chanida upset calculations, winning the race by a short head from Bell-tue-Cat, a neck in front of Hanover Hornpipe. T. H. Ryan shipped True Wing to Saratoga tonight. M. J. Winn left tonight for Louisville.
