Stoner Hill, crowded back soon after the start, was rated along in the middle of the bunch until making the turn into the homestretch, where he came to the outside, finished with a rush and got up Jn the last dozen yards, but kept bearing out all through the last sixteenth. Oleasa, away poorly, weaved her way through on the far turn and slipped up between Miss Leeds and Rubaiyat in the last sixteenth and outstayed them In the final drive. Rubaiyat was made too much use of in racing after Kellnda and tired, but held on gamely. Miss Leeds tired In the final strides. Zelinda set a fast pace and showed much speed for live furlongs. Fryer was outrun for the first half, but moved up on the far turn and. catching the leaders tiring, drew away without great effort in the last furlong. Charles L. Stone began slowly and was crowded back soon after the start, but bumped his way through on the turn out of the backstretch and disposed of Moonvine at the furlong post, but quit when the winner challenged. Frances Ermine trailed nto the homestretch and then finished fast and outstayed Moonvine. The latter, away well, raced into the lead r.fter the start and set the pace until well Into the stretch, then quit. Great Sorceress showed sDeed. Sam Parmer was well handled and rated along through the first turn of the field, then moved up and was takenback again when Bank Holiday challenged and allowed the latter to set the pace until going to the twelfth jump, where he again took command, but was tiring at the end and just managed to last long enough to stall off Little AAally. The latter finished fast and was wearing the winner down and would-have won in another stride. Bank Holiday fenced well and showed much speed, but failed to stay. Dragon ran in much improved form. Glimmer, outrun in the early stages, worked his way up on the far turn and easily disposed of the others. Black Flag broke well and ran well until on the turn into the homestretch, then quit. Raindance, outrun for the first quarter, worked his way ap on the inside on-the turn out of the backstretch, came to the outside after entering the homestretch nnd came, on fast, but tired when he got to the leaders and was unable to improve his position in the last sixteenth. Nervator, well meant today, set a fast pace and was a keen contender until well In the final furlong, when he tired. Willowdene. practically left, closed a big gap and ran a winning race. Jungle Imp was saved In the early stages and waited with until rounding the turn out of the backstretch before making his move, then closed with a rush on the leaders and, in a driving finish, outgamed Croivshade. Crowshade was up with the leaders all the way and was easily best of the others. Ora Z. ran a smart race, carried The Gadfly along at a fast clip for the first seven furlongs and saved ground all the way. Hanover Hornpipe ran a dull race.
