AAoolen ran forwardly from the start and, finishing gamely, outlasted Bon Vlvant. The latter bora out badly through the stretch, but ran a good race. Sanderson was in close quarter? mosf of the way and Mulshed going fast. Princess Mijrie was gaining at the end. Alty Jig. Donald had a rough trip and put up a good-performance. MIra was right there throughout. Deacon was I knocked back soon after the start and ran a good race. Esterre, lucky all the way and away in a forward position, raced Black Art into subjection before going a half and held Lady Ethel safe in the final drive. The latter, much the best, was away poorly end closed a tremendous gap, but tired slightly from her early effort. Dr. Keith, lucky in escaping interference, finished fast after saving ground when coming Into the stretch. All Brown ran a good race and was a sharp factor In the early stages. Wool Dealer was badly outrun for the first round of the field, but gradually moved up and, finishing fast through the stretch, was gaining on the winner. Frank Mc ran a good race, but tired badly in the final drive. John Dillon ran a bad race and can do much better. Sam Hoffheimer showed speed throughout the field, but quit all over through blundering at the last field jump. St. Volma was going well and about to assume the lead when he fell at the eighth jump. Electorine tired after going five fnrlongs and was boring out through the stretch. Sir Geoffrey, badly outrun for the first half, closed a big gap and was gaining at the end. Capitano, hard ridden all the way, ran gamely in the final drive and outstayed Mum. The latter showed the most early speed, but quit badly. Angleta, badly handled and probably best, was taken wide most of the way and Keyes effort at riding a strong finish was palpably weak. Cygnet came fast through the stretch after going wide most of the way. Lldwlna was eased up all the way and can do much better. Overweights Cygnet, 4 pounds. d.
