NARRA6ANSETT PARK TO BE SOLD. Providence, R. I.. September 1. The first step In foreclosure proceedings at Narragansett Park has been taken. Colonel Frank W. Tillinghast, attorney for Frederick E. Perkins, mortgagee, says the property with the racetrack buildings, etc. will be advertised to be sold on September 24, at noon. Colonel Tillinghast said that the interest was due on July 20, and. not having been paid, the foreclosure proceedings followed. The foreclosure means that the grand circuit races will be resumed here in 1907. though the running races are probably a dead letter here.
