Temaceo was In forward contention throughout, drew out when straightened for home and won out after a game effort. Monfort made the running to the turn, where he commenced to bore out and was passed by the winner, was with difficulty straightened out at the end and just failed to get up again. Eudora held a good position throughout and finished a game third. Somnus, on the insida, loomed up menacingly midway of the stretch, but tired at the end. Bemay developed superior early speed and maintained close pursuit of the leaders to the last sixteenth, where she tired badly. Magna Stella showed brilliant early speed and ran a cracking race. Mexican Silver got away very badly. Flowaway suffered from crowding at the start and had a rough journey. Is a genuine crackerjack, made the running by a wide gap and, hard held throughout, won drawing further away as the race progressed in a brilliant performance. Belligerent ran well from the start and, after a strenuous effort to overhaul the leader, gamely stood off Oros challenge at the end. The latter was hopelessly outpaced for a mile and a half, coming on with a belated rush in the stretch. The Miner showed superior early speed and may have been short. Balzac was In nearest pursuit of the leader for a mile and a half and fell at the Liverpool. Delcanta fell at the second obstacle. Roseben Is himself again and decisively outbroke, outpaced and outstayed his opponents, winning all the way and never fully extended. Neva Lee, away slowly and badly messed about, closed a big gap on the extreme outside, coming on at the end with a belated rush and was easily second best today. Ormondale moved up on the extreme outside and, going very wide on the turn, failed to make anyilmpression on the winner in the closing drive. Dolly Spanker, nearly left, closed an immense gap, was going like a cyclone at the end and is In rare form. Zienap also made up a lot of grouud from :v bad start. Dr. Gardner tired right at the end of a close live furlongs pursuit of the tremendous pace and may still be short. Kings Daughter retired after going a fast half. Hamburg Belle got away badly and lacked speed, running a bad race for her. Proper is out of place in sprints. Haudzarra was speedy, but quit badly. Electioneer maintained a very lucky position within hailing distance of the leaders and closed up very gamely in the last quarter, finally wearing Pope Joan down right at the end. Pope Joan made the running by a wide gap and In the early stages appeared like spreadeagling the others, but turned for home very wide and. tiring, lost out by a narrow margin. De Mund was reserved in forward pursuit of the pacemaker and finished out the last quarter very gamely, running a grand race after being crowded. Yankee Gun displayed unexpected and superior speed and stamina throughout. Peter Pan, on the inside and prominent throughout, finished palpably sulking under terrific whipping in the last three furlongs. Yankee Girl ran surprisingly well from the start and was going like a cyclone at the finish. Ballot was a forward contender for five and a half furlongs before he gave way. Convllle was crowded out at the beginning and slowly closed a big gap. Horace E. again failed to stay. Don Enrique was coming fast when too late. GInctte, from a Hying start, was skillfully reserved In near pursuit of Klameslia for five furlongs, then moved up and challenged her and, after a vigorous furlong drive, drew out easily nt the end and is a gnmd mare. Klamesha made the running by a wide gap for nearly seven furlongs before she succumbed. Nealon ran a grand race atthe weights, got away well on the inside, closed up fast In the last half, was carried out on the last turn and finished a game third. California King, away poorly, steadily improved his position and finished a fast going fourth. True Wing, from a good start, ran forwardly for six furlongs and tired in the stretch as if short. Rapid Water showed early speed and then tired and was palpa-1 bly short. Angler never got to going until too late. Red Knight has worked well and was short.
