STILL PROBING- THE OBERT-PERRY CASE, A. T. A. Directors Will Meet Again Tonight Brand Story of Friction as False. Louisville, Ky., October 2. The directors of the American Turf Association did not conclude their business last night and will meet again tomorrow night. Most of their time last night was taken up in an effort to get the truth about the defeat of Coruscate at Latonia August 29. Jockey Obert was again examined and he confessed to having pulled the mare and averred it was at the instigation of owner H. J. Perry. The latter denied the boys charges. Obert introduced witnesses to corroborate his statements. They were at times conflicting in their testimony. The directors are probing deeply into the matter and are expecting to secure more evidence tomorrow. A decision in the case is almost certain to be handed out Wednesday night. The application of jockeys Heidel, E. Miller hnd Martin were referred to the judges that first made the rulings. The directors were unanimous in stating thatfthe meeting was harmonious and that the stories of friction existing among members are false.
