Olcasa trailed the leader until straightened out for the final run, then came fast In the last furlong and was going away at the end. Ossineke set a fast nace for half a mile, but was tiring in the last quarter. Marquis fie Carabas began slowly, but closed a big gap and finished with a rush. Knobhamp-ton fenced well, soon took a tremendous lead and held his opponents safe all the way. Wabash ran out after taking the sixteenth jump, but Murphy got him back in the course and he finished. Goldenway was badly distressed In the last quarter and was not persevered with. Bilberry would probably have won had he stood up, but stumbled at the thirteenth jump and unseated his rider and was remounted and finished. Paleface unseated his rider at the thirteenth jump. Mrs. Grannan was pulled up after taking the thirteenth jump. Virtuoso bolted out of the course after taking the tenth jump and was pulled up. Overweights Wabash, 3 pounds. , d. Won driving: second easily; thlfol the same. Garrett Wilson outbroke the others and set a terrific pa"ce, outgamed Bryan when the latter challenged in the stretch run and was going away at the end. Bryan was rated along for the first five furlongs ami waited with until rounding the turn Into the homestretch before making his run.-caught the winner at the furlong post, but tired at the end under punishment. Reservation trailed for the first seven furlongs, then came fast in the streich run and outgamed Factotum in the final drive. Javanese sprinted into a winning lead in the first furlong and was well in hand all through the last quarter. Doc Kyle began slowly and was forced to work Ids way up on the outside, was carried to the outside fence when entering the homestretch, but finished gamely under punishment and ran a winning race. Potiemah, suddenly improved, ran well, but tired in the last furlong from following the winner closely. Nioless was crowded back when the start came. Caper Sauce ran a good race, drew away from the others on the far turn and was only cantering at the end. Tony Hart began slowly, but came fast on the turn into the stretch and easily disposed of the others. Capercailzie finished fast and outgamed Zelinda- when it came to the final drive. Reticent regained his speed suddenly, trailed far back until straightened out for the final run, then finished with a rush and outstayed Mafalda in the final drive. Mafalda moved up fast on the far turn and hung on gamely under punishment, but was unable to stall off the winners challenge. Ruth1 W. ran well and wait on the outside nil the way. Oratorian tired. Kilts was sore when going to the post, but ran well to -the stretch. King Pepper showed speed, buf quit badly.
