"BOOTS DURNELL HAS BEEN REINSTATED. Announcement Is Made of This Action hy Pacific Jockey Club Stewards at Belmont Park. New York, October 13. The announcement, eminating from an authoritative source, lias just been made that C. E. Boots Durnell ruled oft for life last winter by the Pacific Jockey. Club for practices at Ascot Park inimical to the best interests of the turf, has been reinstated. Thomas H. Williams, Adam Andrew and W. E. Dunn, stewards of -the Pacific coast turf governing body met yesterday at Belmont Park and reviewed the evidence against Durnell with the result that the sentence of List winter against him was rescinded.
