EAIN MAES SP0ET AT CHUECHILL DOWNS. Miss Rillie Wins the Two Mile Race Hannibal Bey Captures the Handicap. Louisville, Ky., October IS. Wet weather marred the sport at Churchill Downs today. A good program had been provided and included a handicap at seven furlongs and a race at two miles. The latter was captured by Miss Rillie, ridden intelligently by Nicol. Elliott, which was installed favorite, quit badly after going a mile, allowing Mamie Algol and Inflammable to get the minor places in the race. Hannibal Bey, top-weight in the handicap, proved that his victory over Pretension was no fluke. The surprise was the showing made by C. R. Ellisons Dr. Spruill, which finished second. Starter Shelleys work at the barrier was first class considering that he jumped into the breach at a moments notice. At his request Jake Holt-man, who is at present in Cincinnati, was telegraphed for and will dispatch the fields tomorrow and Saturday. . The track officials received a court notice during the day that the restraining order issued against Debar is dissolved and that the horse in future can start. II. M.
