GETTING READY FOR THE LATONIA MEETING. Cincinnati, O., October 18. The program book for the first two weeks of the meeting of the Latonia Jockey Club, which is to open Monday next and continue until November 17, was distributed today by Secretary John B. Dillon. There are now over 300 horses at the track and by morning there will be 200 more here from Louisville. By Monday or Tuesday there will not be a vacant stall on the grounds. It "is announced that Charles F. Price will be the presiding judge. Jake Holtman, who will do the starting during the meeting, is here ready to go on, and he can be depended upon for some good work at the barrier. The big .fellow has been taking things very easy since the close of the summer meeting at Latonia and is in splendid physical condition, .lake Beckley, the St. Louis fltst baseman, will be Holt-muns assistant.
