MRS. RICHARD. DWYX3wDIES..AT.JLQ,UIS VJLLE. Louisville, Ky., October 18. Mrs. Richard D. Dwyer, wife of the well-known starter, died at the Seelbach Hotel shortly after the noon hour today, as the result of a stroke of paralysis. She .was at Churchill Downs yesterday and seemingly In the best of health. Mr. Dwyer, on his arrival at the hotel later in the evening, found her Insensible and the best efforts of several doctors during the night failed to restore consciousness. Mr. and Mrs. Dwyer had planned to leave Louisville Monday next for California and enjoy -a long rest before the opening of the Oakland meeting. The news of Mrs. Dwyers death Was received with great sorrow among the horsemen, and many hastened to express their sympathy in person to Mr. Dwyer. The remains will be shipped tonight to Brooklyn, N. Y., for Interment.
